Intro to Meditation Workshop
Have you been interested in meditating but don’t know how to begin? Do you wish you had a few simple steps to follow to get started? If so, this workshop is for you.
Meditation is a wonderful tool for developing ease, balance, and a sense of peace within and with others. In this workshop you will learn how to meditate and how to maintain a nourishing, uncomplicated home practice. Included will be instructions on how to sit/recline comfortably and how to incorporate breath, intention, and visualization. You will receive helpful handouts and a lot of encouragement and support.
This workshop will include both instruction and practice, and plenty of time will be allotted for questions. Participants will leave feeling relaxed, confident, and ready to meditate. No experience is necessary. Please wear comfortable, warm clothing.
