Teen Yoga 6-Week Series
Teen Yoga Class is a six-week series designed specifically for teenagers and offers them yoga and meditation techniques to improve focus & concentration while reducing stress and anxiety. Throughout the class, we work on developing better self-awareness and self-acceptance.
The asana/physical practice of yoga allows students to gain body awareness while building strength, increasing flexibility, and improving coordination. Developing steadiness in physical body has a calming effect on the mind. We also explore meditation and breathing exercises in this class, which can have a significant impact on reducing anxiety and stress.
With a world full of constant distractions, it’s easy to lose focus in our day-to-day tasks. A well-rounded yoga practice improves focus and concentration making us more efficient at the task on hand. The non-judgmental nature of yoga gives students an opportunity to see themselves as they really are and help them find compassion towards self and others
Date: Wednesdays, March 7, 14, 21, 28, April 4, 11
Time: 5:30 – 6:45 pm
Ages: Open to youth ages 14-18 years old
Registration: Registration ends March 1st. We require a minimum of 5 students in order to run this series.
Refund Policy: Cancelled registrations are only eligible for a refund (minus $15 processing fee) up to three days prior to workshop date.
