Yoga Nidra Workshop-Returns in October
Yoga nidra is guided meditation practiced in a comfortable and supported reclined position. Yoga nidra allows your body and mind to rest while you access inner wisdom and guidance through a dreamlike journey filled with soothing imagery, calming music, and long moments of silence. It facilitates joy and healing at the deepest levels in a peaceful and nurturing way. It is also very relaxing and refreshing. In yoga nidra, you can expect quiet moments of reflection and lots of time to simply be.
This workshop includes gentle restorative postures to prepare the body for yoga nidra, followed by a long yoga nidra experience. The workshop concludes with reflective writing, group connection, and a grounding closing meditation.
No particular skill in yoga is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal and pen.
Important Note: Due to the nature of this workshop it is important to arrive 10 minutes early for set up. Practice begins promptly at 2pm. There will be no late admittance.
Facilitated by: Samantha, an E-RYT 500 who specializes in Yoga Nidra and who has developed her approach to Yoga Nidra over 15 years of dedicated study, practice, and teaching.
