Intro to Nutrition Workshop

Did you know that sugar causes inflammation in the body? Chronic inflammation can lead to a host of all sorts of symptoms and complications down the road including digestive issues, fatigue, arthritis, and heart disease to name a few.

And did you know there are hidden sugars in 74% of packaged foods out on the market today?

In this interactive class, you will see and experience how to successfully read food labels while grocery shopping to make the healthiest choices for you and your family. You’ll take an up close look at how food companies cleverly label their sugar-loaded products to entice the consumer, and what you need to look for to avoid these hidden sugars. You’ll learn how sugar affects the body, the different types of sugars, and which ones are healthy for consumption vs. those that are not.

With just one simple shift in nutrition, you can begin to transform your health. You will leave this class feeling inspired, empowered and excited to continue your health journey, and receive tools you can use for a lifetime. We will break it down in the simplest format so you can walk away feeling confident and ready to take action. As new sugar “investigators” you’ll learn that making healthier choices starts to become second nature, and even fun!

This workshop is great for those wanting to live a healthier lifestyle but do not quite know where to begin.
