There are many reasons why you should practice yoga, but simply put, yoga makes you feel good. It relaxes, energizes, strengthens, and balances your body and mind. Life just seems to run more smoothly when you make yoga a part of your daily routine.

At Yoga in the Center, we wanted to offer an array of classes for people of all ages, sizes, and physical abilities. We offer everything from gentle to strong and vigorous styles. Gearing towards special populations, we bring Hanna Somatic Education classes for people who experience pain, along with Pre- and Post-Natal yoga, Hypnobirthing Education, as well as classes for kids and tweens. Because there are so many different styles of yoga, we wanted to bring teachers who trained in them, such as Anusara Yoga, Shiva Rae’s Prana Flow Energetic Vinyasa, Jules Mitchell Yoga, and Leeann Carey’s Yapana, as well as brilliant local yoga teachers, including Teresa Elliott and Anne Phyfe. Most of our teachers are 500-hour registered teachers with Yoga Alliance, and others have advanced training to specialize in their field, such as pre-natal and kids. 

Yoga has the ability to enhance your life. Finding a style that fits you, your lifestyle, and your schedule is what we are about. We designed a studio in Mill Creek to provide a convenient location for members of our community.
