Class Descriptions
Gentle Yoga - Beginners to experienced:
In this class, the body is given a long warm-up that involves gentle movements that begin to cultivate elements of coordinating the mind, movement of the body and breath. The pace of the class is slow enough so that whether you are a beginner or seasoned practitioner you have the opportunity to develop an understanding of what you are experiencing in your body and to adapt based on instruction and alignment guidelines, building strength and confidence.
vinyasa - beginners to experienced:
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic and flowing style of movement that synchronizes breath with movement to create a seamless and invigorating practice. In this class, you will move through a series of poses, smoothly transitioning from one to the next with guidance of breath. The continuous flow builds heat in the body, increases flexibility, and strengthens both the body and the mind. As you move through the sequences you will experience a sense of fluidity and rhythm, enhancing your body awareness and cultivating a meditative state of mind. VInyasa offers a balanced combination of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, making it a great practice for those seeking a physical challenge, mental focus, and a deeper connection to body and mind.
Kettlebell Conditioning - beginners to experienced:
This is a strength and conditioning class focused on training in a way that mimics real-world movements. The intention of this class is to build strength and coordination that will have a high trade-off to your everyday activities and hobbies. You’ll see familiar kettlebell exercises with an emphasis on unilateral, cross lateral and multi-planar movements. You’ll work on integrating load into full body patterns that could help improve your golf swing or open doors to more movement options in the garden. All you need is one kettlebell, a resistance band, mat and a playful attitude. No kettlebells? Dumbbells work too. Your instructor will provide exercise options for beginners to advanced. Work at your comfort level and progress as you feel ready.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a practice that consists of longer holds and deep tissue stretching. You will use yoga props to help support your body in relaxation in order to gain homeostasis. Yin yoga can help you sleep better, reduce tension, and increase flexibility.
