How to Headstand

Exploring Perspective, Confidence & Connection

Headstand has long been known as the King of the Asanas—not because of how it looks, but because of what it teaches us.

When we turn our world upside down, we are invited to see things differently. Headstand asks us to cultivate patience, focus, courage, and trust while developing a deeper understanding of how the body works as an integrated whole. Whether practiced in the middle of the room, at the wall, or with full support, the benefits of exploring inversion extend far beyond the pose itself.

In this workshop, we'll break down headstand into approachable, understandable pieces. Through drills, alignment exploration, and individualized instruction, you'll learn how a strong foundation creates freedom throughout the body and how balance becomes less about effort and more about information.

Together we'll explore the relationship between strength, stability, awareness, and confidence while discovering new ways to approach this iconic posture.

The ability to do a headstand is not a requirement for this workshop. An openness to explore the possibility is.

Expect detailed instruction, hands-on guidance, personalized feedback, foundational drills, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and explore at your own pace. This workshop is designed to meet you where you are and help you better understand both the posture and yourself.
